Last year, I decided to put together a shoot celebrating luxurious fall and winter colours and textures – tan, and lots of marble, copper, wood and metallics…. Also, it was a revolutionary year in celebrating the recognition of equal rights for gay marriage, and I decided there is no better time for Agape Wedding and Event Design to do a styled shoot featuring a same sex couple, rather than the standard bride and groom. Don’t miss the recent feature on Confetti Daydreams Blog!

Captured by the amazing Wesley Vorster, this shoot features couture wedding gowns and tuxedo by SA designer Gavin Rajah, abundant detail incorporating the quintessentially fall inspired feature tan/camel colour in natural finishes and in florals, designed by Cape Town’s renowned Aspen Flowers and Co…. The location – The Dairy Shed – the most beautiful old dairy shed that has been transformed into a blank space, where we added feature lighting, designed by Something Different, to accent the face brick and plaster finishes, and to contrast the raw, farm setting. The contrast of the luxurious marble, concrete and metallics resulted in striking visuals within the rural setting. We hope you love it as much as we do! Thank you to Lisa Brown for hair and make-up, Centrepiece Cakes for the gorgeous copper and marble cake, Seven Swans for the stunning gold foiled stationery, and Bespoke Registry for tableware and decor.
